    Lumina Codex, LLC ("Lumina Codex," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Spirit Guide AI at https://ootwspiritguide.com or through the Spirit Guide AI mobile app (the "Service"). The Service is intended for adults 18 years of age or older.

    1. Information We Collect

    When you use the Service, we may collect:

    • Personal Information: name, email address, phone number, and payment details (processed securely by third-party payment providers).
    • Account Information: subscription status, billing history, and account preferences.
    • Content You Provide: messages, notes, and journal entries you share within the Service.
    • Device Information: IP address, browser type, device type, cookies, and usage data.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use your information to:

    • Create and manage your account
    • Deliver personalized guidance through the Service
    • Process subscription payments
    • Communicate with you about your account and support requests
    • Improve the Service and customer experience
    • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
    • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

    3. Sharing Your Information

    We may share your information with trusted third parties strictly to operate our business, including:

    • Payment processors
    • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
    • Customer support platforms
    • Analytics and website service providers
    • Apple, for in-app purchases made through the App Store
    • Anthropic, PBC — our third-party AI provider. The messages you send within the Service, along with any attachments you include, are transmitted to Anthropic and processed by its Claude AI models solely to generate Spirit Guide AI's responses. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models, and it is not used for any purpose other than returning a response to you.

    We do not sell or rent your personal information.

    SMS / mobile opt-in data is never shared. No mobile information or text-messaging opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services (such as customer service) is permitted solely to operate the messaging program. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.

    4. SMS / Text Message Communications

    When you create an account with an email address and password, a mobile phone number is required, and we use it to send you text messages of two kinds: (1) account and security messages, such as one-time verification codes used to confirm your phone number and protect your account; and (2) where you separately opt in, recurring promotional messages about Spirit Guide AI. If you sign up using Apple or Google, we do not collect a phone number unless you provide one. We collect your mobile number and your consent solely to operate this program. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Your mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes (see Section 3 above).

    5. Data Security

    We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    6. Data Retention

    We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active, so we can provide the Service to you. This includes your account and subscription details, billing history, and the content you provide — your messages, notes, journal entries, and attachments — which we keep so your conversation history stays available to you across sessions and devices.

    When you permanently delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account in the Spirit Guide AI iOS or Android app), your conversation history and account data are removed within 30 days. After that window we may retain only a limited subset of information where required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations, and we delete it once those obligations are satisfied.

    7. Cookies

    We use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and performance. You may disable cookies through your browser settings.

    8. Your Rights

    Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@ootwspiritguide.com.

    You can also permanently delete your account and all associated personal information directly within the Spirit Guide AI iOS or Android app under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent — your conversation history and account data will be removed within 30 days.

    9. Changes

    We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
